Responsible to: Facilities Manager

Start & End Date: June 20 – August 31

Position: Paid

Job Description: Works in the Facilities department as part of a team to see that the site and all necessary buildings and activities are in good running order for campers, staff, and guests.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 19 years old
  • Current and valid full-privilege B.C. license (Notice: license “N” is adequate)
  • Current and valid boating license
  • Organized
  • Can work both independently and in a team
  • High work ethic

Specific Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance around property (as defined by Facilities Manager)
  • Make runs into Gibsons
  • Assist with garbage and recycling

General Staffing Principles

All staff will actively pursue the ministry of the camp through the application of biblical principles in his/her leadership of and personal relationships with the staff and campers.  Staff must be dedicated to showing humble servant attitudes through putting others ahead of themselves, looking for the betterment of the camp as a whole, and helping out not only in tasks, but also emotionally and spiritually in the unity of the staff team.
