Activity Captains
(Summer Program Activity Coordinators)
Responsible to: Program Directors
Start & End Date: June 13 – August 31
Position: Paid
Job Description: Oversee and run one or more of the activity areas (sports, skateboarding, mountain biking, arts, archery, adventure equipment, etc.), making sure the campers are having an exciting & safe time in a relationally conducive area. Work with a team to help with other program tasks and other areas of camp to see camp as a whole be successful.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 21 years old
- Experience leading large group games and activities
- Experience with various program activities (mountain biking, skateboarding, climbing, etc.) helpful
- Can work in team & independently
- Willingness to be outgoing and enthusiastic
- Flexible & creative
- Can take initiative
General Staffing Principles
All staff will actively pursue the ministry of the camp through the application of biblical principles in his/her leadership of and personal relationships with the staff and campers. Staff must be dedicated to showing humble servant attitudes through putting others ahead of themselves, looking for the betterment of the camp as a whole, and helping out not only in tasks, but also emotionally and spiritually in the unity of the staff team.
